Export Your CapCut Project

Open your project in CapCut Desktop and navigate to the project directory on your filesystem. CapCut stores project data as a draft_content.json file that contains the full project structure, timeline data, and asset references.

Install the ATIX Desktop App

Download and install the ATIX Desktop App for macOS or Windows. This is a lightweight standalone application that parses CapCut project files and provides the full ATIX interface for tagging and exporting.

The desktop app is under 30MB and runs entirely offline. It never uploads your project data anywhere.

Upload the JSON Draft

Open the ATIX Desktop App and click "Import CapCut Project". Select the draft_content.json file from your CapCut project folder. The parser will extract all timeline clips, audio, effects, stickers, and text elements.

Effects & filters — applied effects with resource IDs
Text & stickers — including CapCut template assets

Tag Assets & Export Report

Review the parsed asset list, annotate each item with source information — copyright owner, license type, AI generation details, and original file URLs. When everything is tagged, export your compliance report as CSV, JSON, or PDF.

CapCut projects that use built-in template assets (music, stickers, effects) will automatically flag those items so you can verify their license terms against CapCut's content library policies.
