ATIX Capture browser extension, ATIX panel for Premiere Pro & ATIX web app · Last updated 7 September 2026

In one paragraph: ATIX records where your media files came from and reads their Content Credentials, so you can document the origin of the assets in a production. It reports evidence — it does not certify that any file is or isn't AI-generated, and you stay responsible for what you publish. Your data is yours; we don't sell it, and you can have it deleted.

1. What these terms cover

These terms are the agreement between you and ATIX for use of the ATIX Capture browser extension, the ATIX panel for Adobe Premiere Pro, and the ATIX web app (together, "the Service"). Using any part of the Service means you accept them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data the Service collects and forms part of these terms.

2. Accounts and agencies

You need an account to file captures under an agency. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. When you join or create an agency, members of that agency can see the captures, projects, and reports filed to it — so only join an agency you're meant to be part of, and only invite people you intend to give that access.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and if you're using ATIX for an employer, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms for them.

3. What the Service actually tells you

This section matters more than any other, so it's in plain language.

Reports the Service generates are working documents to support your own review. They are not legal certification, not a compliance guarantee, and not a substitute for your own judgement about what you broadcast, publish, or deliver to a client.

4. Your content and your data

Your projects, captures, notes, and reports stay yours. You grant ATIX only the permission needed to run the Service for you: to store this data, process it, and show it back to you and your agency's members. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to train models. To export or delete your agency's data, email us and we'll do it.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service to break the law, infringe someone's rights, or misrepresent what a file is. Specifically, don't use ATIX output — verified, missing, or otherwise — to make a provenance claim you know to be false. Don't attempt to disrupt the Service, work around access controls, or access another agency's data.

6. Third-party services and software

The Service runs on and alongside things we don't control: Adobe Premiere Pro, Google Chrome, Firebase Authentication for sign-in, and our hosting provider. It also reads Content Credentials using the C2PA open-source tooling. Their terms apply to them, and changes on their side can affect how ATIX behaves.

7. Availability, changes, and pilot status

ATIX is early software offered to pilot teams. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we don't promise uninterrupted availability or that every verdict will be correct. We'll give reasonable notice of significant changes to these terms; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

8. Fees

Where a plan is paid, the price, billing period, and what's included are shown at the point of purchase. Pilot access may be provided free of charge and does not create an entitlement to future free use.

9. Ending it

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time; uninstalling the extension ends all collection immediately. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, and will tell you why where we reasonably can.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATIX is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or reputational harm — including any arising from reliance on a provenance verdict. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100 where you paid nothing. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a term isn't a waiver of it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
